A Very Etsy Christmas
Decorating for Christmas has always been one of my favorite things. Throughout the year I am always on the lookout at thrift and antique stores for unique Christmasy finds.
It recently occurred to me to look on etsy for the same type of things and I figured I would share some of the treasures that I found.![]() |

Thrifty Easter
For Easter this year Jake & I went back to his dad's house for the weekend. It was super relaxing and simple which was just want I needed to help battle away a silly cold that had been bothering me for about a week. While we were out there we visited an adorable antique store and I picked up a few goodies:
So even though I was a little under the weather it turned out to be a nice & quiet little get away. And it is always nice to see Jake's dad, who just happens to make the best breakfast.
How was your holiday weekend?

Sunday Morning... What We Wore
Today we were blessed with yet another gorgeous day! This morning was my favorite part of the day, it was one of those mornings where you actually do wake up to birds, sunshine, and the perfect cup of coffee. Melisa came over to hang out and we had ourselves a mini photo shoot & I wore shorts for the first time (out in public) this year!
What Melisa wore: button down from nordstorm/ shorts from american eagle that she cut off/ tights from h&m/ moccasins from minnetonka
What I wore: shirt from uo/ shorts up-cycled vintage levis/ belt & shoes vintage/ tights from uo

Oh Happy Day! My Summer Wedding..
Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I wanted to share my wedding, that took place last June, with all of you.
Thanks to all of our amazing friends and family, we had the day of our dreams. I guess you could say that the vision we had for our wedding was "classic vintage and handmade." Because we are surrounded by so many beautifully talented people we wanted to invite them to take part in creating the perfect wedding with us. Everything from my dress to the groomsmen's leather hats to the favors were handmade by us and our friends. Many other little items were purchased from vintage/thrift stores and etsy.
