I'm not sure yet just how much of Sandy we are going to see but if nothing else we'll probably have a couple days of being cooped up inside... I made a list just in case.

  • Watch an interesting documentary.
  • Bake!
  • Organize a room in your home.
  • Write a postcard.
  • Make a mix-tape.
  • Make a self portrait.
  • Start your Christmas shopping.
  • Paint your baskets.

  • Read a novel.
  • Make doggie treats.
  • Have a movie marathon.
  • Paint your nails.

  • Give your old clothes new life. (tie-dye/jeans into shorts)
  • Start a sewing project.
  • Picnic in your living room.
  • Turn an old book into a box.

  • Put together a terrarium.
  • Make a pin hole camera.
  • Plan a photo-shoot.
  • Try a new recipe.
  • Dye your hair.

  • Make bunting.
  • Make a dream catcher.
  • Take a bubble bath.
  • Do yoga.

Stick Around Indian Summer.

The past few days have been beautiful here in Pittsburgh! It feels like the perfect summer day. I love it. I had the day off today so I tried to make the most of it. I'm finally finished with the madness of wedding season & have been in great need of a day like today.
<3

Packaged up John & Elizabeth's wedding photos! Last
wedding of the year.

Pink lemonade. Of course.

Treats.

Best buddy.

Shorts!

A bunch of these guys.

And some of this guy.

I can only hope that this warm spell last just a little longer.

Chocolate Covered Goodness...

Today's recipe was inspired by Skull. The other day our roommate gave me a little tutorial on how to dip things in chocolate so I decided to use one of his favorite snacks for my first attempt.
I took the easy way out this time and just used the microwave to melt the chocolate, but was later informed by Skull that he recommends using a hotplate instead.
But, I think they turned out pretty well!

Ingredients:
2/3 cups of chocolate chips
2 teaspoons of shortening
10-12 pretzel rods
baking cocoa for sprinkling (optional)

In the microwave, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip pretzels in chocolate; allow excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper; let stand for 10-15 minutes.

Perhaps next time I will attempt to add "drizzles"...

A Time of Deep Sadness!

Girls all over the world are in mourning this week after Justin Timberlake went and married Jessica I can't Biel-eve she's so boring in a private wedding in Italy on Friday!

This is not a wedding photo.

Even though I knew this was coming it still hurts! Justin was on my top 5 celebrity crushes list but was recently taken off due to boring choices in woman and for doing too much acting instead of singing. Though I love seeing his butt in Friends with Benefits he needs to bring the sexy back and do some music for awhile! Can I also say that I still wish he would have married Britney Spears or even that joker faced Cameron Diaz would have been a better fit!

Those were the days!

At least she was fun!

I'm going to have to agree with Melisa and give it four years... sorry Justin maybe then you can be put back on the list!? I know this all sounds harsh but the truth hurts and it's my job to tell it! If you have any predictions or opinions on the matter feel free to share. Don't worry ladies we will get through this I promise just take it one day at a time!

Instagram Life- Andrea

Greetings! It has been slow here on the blog and the gals and I haven't been able to get together, but that will all soon change. If any of you have some things you'd like to ask any of us, see us create, or a fun photo shoot idea leave it in the comments! We all love a challenge.

I have been pretty busy this last week with family stuff, but I also had time for some fun.

Chucks and I met Sid Haig at the horror convention that was in town. Now, if you told me a year ago I'd be at the convention and thoroughly enjoying myself I would be doubtful. Thanks C for the intro to all of the cool things! It was a blast and Ken Foree made me blush a little with his smoother than butter charisma.

We took one of the babysitting kids, X, to the zoo. He has the most energy I have ever seen.
Disclaimer: that little girl was not my responsibility.

Littlest niece fell asleep on the way to find her mom a fancy shmancy dress for a Naval ball. That is bread on her lap....she may actually be my child after all.

L.N. and her new friend Pierce were measuring hands at the diner.

A nice end to a nice week at my local watering hole with some pals. This is Jess, she likes milkshakes.

Hope everyone had a great week and will have an even better one this week!
