A couple weeks ago my darling friend, Rachel, and I had the honor of photographing Andrew and Lexi's wedding. Photographing weddings with Rachel gives me the freedom to focus more on film while she shoots digital and that makes weddings much more enjoyable for me! Here are a few of my favorite shots:

One Year!

One year ago today I married the greatest man on the planet! I'm a lucky girl. It has been quite beautiful. It has had many ups and a few downs & we have grown up and grown closer together because of it. I can't wait for the many years that we have yet to experience with each other. Thank you to all of our friends and family for being a part of this past year with us. We love you guys!

DIY Guest Book

After almost 9 months of being married I finally put together our wedding guest book! Which was completely inspired by Melisa's awesome handmade journals:

Our idea for a guest book was to have a typewriter & pens and cigar boxes filled with bits of paper for people to type their notes to us on. After I would sew the pieces into a vintage book. I finally got around to it and am so happy with how it turned out!

I had quite a few sappy moments going through and re-reading these special little notes. I'm excited that our book is finally all put together & is something that we will always be able to hold dear. We really do have the most beautiful friends & family.

Oh Happy Day! My Summer Wedding..

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I wanted to share my wedding, that took place last June, with all of you. 
Thanks to all of our amazing friends and family, we had the day of our dreams. I guess you could say that the vision we had for our wedding was "classic vintage and handmade." Because we are surrounded by so many beautifully talented people we wanted to invite them to take part in creating the perfect wedding with us. Everything from my dress to the groomsmen's leather hats to the favors were handmade by us and our friends. Many other little items were purchased from vintage/thrift stores and etsy.

My necklace was made by Jake and my veil was a created by Andrea, Vieve and myself.
