Garden Flowers

 

 One of summer's highlights (i think) is flower gardens. Even if you are living in an apartment in the city, there are still fun little ways of putting together a garden (even if it is quite tiny). A few days ago I went down to the local hardware store and picked up a couple succulents, some herbs, wildflower seeds, and a little wax begonia.

All you need are some planters, some type of scoop, potting soil, and of course water.  

For my wildflowers I used some vintage planters that I have been collecting for a while now.

My friend, Amber's, love for succulents inspired me to get some! And, I must say that I am very pleased with the decision. I am already planning on picking up a few more!

I used old clothes pin pieces to label the herbs.

There it is! I only have a front porch to work with so I am quite excited for Jake & I to get a house some day! Hopefully with in the next couple years... fingers crossed!
